Prestigious, full service, Long Island law firm seeks F/T Paralegal for Tax, Trusts and Estates Department with at least 2 years of experience in trusts and estates litigation. The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree or a Paralegal Certificate and be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook. The position also requires proficiency with New York State's e-filing system (NYSCEF), Surrogate's Court procedure, and local Surrogate's Courts rules. Responsibilities will include drafting pleadings, documents and correspondence, assisting with motion practice and exhibits for deposition preparation, organizing, indexing and summarizing records, among other things. The candidate should have demonstrated ties to Long Island. The firm's offices are centrally located on Long Island in one of the region's premier buildings.
